Want to make changes to our city? Apply to be on the Spring Hill City Council.

With City Council President Chad Young recently elected as mayor through a write-in campaign, his seat will become open in January.

We’re accepting Letters of Interest from residents who want to serve on the City Council for the remainder of his term, which ends January 2028. City Council meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month.

See if you qualify and learn how to apply.

The City is accepting completed Letters of Interest until noon on Thursday, Jan. 15. You can submit the letters in person at City Hall or by email.

Please contact City Clerk Glenda Gerrity at 913-592-3664 for more information.
