Public Improvement Permits (PIP) are required for privately-funded public infrastructure projects that will eventually be maintained by the City of Spring Hill. These typically include streets, stormwater systems, and sanitary sewers constructed by land developers.
Permit Requirements
Engineered Plans: All plans must be signed and sealed by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Kansas.
Application Process: PIP applications are submitted through our online permitting portal. You will be prompted to upload the required documents during the submission process.
Final Administrative Items: After plan approval, developers must submit bids, bonds, insurance, and other required documentation before work begins.
