Public Improvement Permits

Public Improvement Permits (PIP) are required for privately-funded public infrastructure projects that will eventually be maintained by the City of Spring Hill. These typically include streets, stormwater systems, and sanitary sewers constructed by land developers.

Permit Requirements

  • Engineered Plans: All plans must be signed and sealed by a professional engineer licensed in the state of Kansas.
  • Application Process: PIP applications are submitted through our online permitting portal. You will be prompted to upload the required documents during the submission process.
  • Final Administrative Items: After plan approval, developers must submit bids, bonds, insurance, and other required documentation before work begins.
