Why did Spring Hill have a launch event for RG Fiber?
  • On Sept. 17 (one month after the RFP was released, but before the RFP top recommendation was announced) RG Fiber had a free event at the Spring Hill Civic Center. RG Fiber had placed signs around town indicating a website where residents could show interest in the RG Fiber internet products. Note the City archived news indicating that RG Fiber/Gigabit Service “could be arriving soon.”
  • Spring Hill has and continues to encourage Broadband Internet Providers to consider moving to Spring Hill or updating their current services here in Spring Hill.
  • The City was under the impression that RG Fiber intended to build in Spring Hill regardless of the RFP process.
