The City of Spring Hill joins communities recognizing National Diaper Need Awareness Week.

National surveys and research studies report that one in three families struggles with diaper needs and 48 percent of families delay changing a diaper to extend the available supply. The proclamation aims to address diaper need to improve infant health and wellbeing.

Diaper banks across the country are issuing a proclamation from September 26 through September 30. HappyBottoms is hosting a diaper drive in the Kansas City metro area.
