The City of Spring Hill is seeking applicants for a recently vacated City Council position. Councilmember Andrea Hughes recently announced her resignation to the Spring Hill City Council. The City is accepting applications for a resident to serve on the City Council for the remainder of her term which ends January 2024.
Applicants must live in the city limits of Spring Hill, Kansas, and be a qualified elector. Regular meetings are held the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 7 p.m., in the Spring Hill Civic Center, 401 N. Madison St., Council Chambers. Special meetings are held at the call of the Mayor.
Applications are available at City Hall, 401 N. Madison or online. Applications will be accepted until noon, April 30, 2021 and must be dropped off at City Hall. It is expected that the position will be appointed at the May 13, 2021 City Council meeting. If you need further information, please contact the City Clerk at (913) 592-3664.
