Our Spring Hill Aquatic Center will reopen for the 2021 season and we can’t wait to share it with you! This season will look a little different to comply with Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines. Here’s a breakdown of how it will work:
Opening Day
Admission
- Daily admission will be reduced to $3
- As always, seniors 62 and older and children 2 and under are free.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
- Season passes will not be renewed or sold
- We will sell punch passes only for 2021. Punch passes are cards that allow 10 visits for $27. After it’s filled, another punch pass can be purchased. Punch passes do not expire and can be used in the next pool season.
- Beginning April 1, purchase punch passes at the Reservations window (near the main entrance) at City Hall, 401 N. Madison St. You can also purchase at the Aquatic Center, beginning May 30.
Open Swim Hours
- This year, we will bring you two Open Swim sessions! Reservations are not required and up to 229 patrons will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis for each session.
- Open Swim sessions will be noon to 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sunday through Saturday.
- The pool will be closed from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. for cleaning.
Swim Lessons
River Walking
- We will offer both regular river walking with jets turned on to offer maximum resistance and also low-impact river walking with no jets, just walking through the water and its natural resistance.
- Time slots will be:
- 10 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.: Low Impact (no jets) Walking
- June 7 through July 2
- July 12 through Aug. 6
- 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.: Regular River Walking (with jets)
- June 7 through July 2
- July 12 through Aug. 6
- 6:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Regular River Walking (with jets)
- June 7 through July 2
- July 12 through Aug. 6
Rentals and Events
- We will not be offering cabana, private party rentals, or group events for the 2021 Season. As of March 26, the Aquatic Center will not host any special events such as Teen or Tween Night.
COVID-19 guidance*
- The Spring Hill Aquatic Center will have a limited outdoor pool season by opening to Spring Hill residents and non-residents (limited sessions).
- Masks are required at all times, except while actively eating or in the water
- Guests are asked to bring own towels and chairs
- Limited concessions available
- Check in will begin 15 minutes prior to each open swim session
- Entrance through the breezeway, exit through the side gate by the playground
- We will close for 30 minutes after each open swim session to clean and disinfect
- We will close for 15 minutes after each swim lesson/activity to clean and disinfect

The Spring Hill Aquatic Center is still actively searching for lifeguard candidates to safely operate our pool this year. Lifeguard pay starts at $9 per hour with in-house Red Cross certified training eligible for reimbursement. All employees are eligible for an end of season bonus.
