The Miami County Commissioners have agreed to have one final round of grant applications for small businesses in Miami County. The portal will reopen by 5 p.m., Nov. 20. It will close at noon, Dec. 4.

There are three categories of grants that are available. Since these are grants, they do NOT need to be repaid. If you have already received funds from this program, you are not eligible. All other criteria remains the same.

Please make sure you submit your information into the correct portal. The categories include homebased/mobile business, nonprofit and small business.

This webpage provides you an overview of the criteria for each category. In general, these descriptions will help you determine which category might work best for you. Review each of the categories to verify exclusions.

• Homebased/Mobile Business: Homebased or mobile operation with fewer than three full-time equivalent employees.
• Nonprofits: Must be a 501c entity that primarily serves Miami County and does not have an employee. 
• Small Business: Persons with a commercial storefront, even if they only employ themselves. Homebased businesses with three or more employees. Nonprofits with one or more employees.
