Now that warmer weather is officially here, you may be planning to install a pool in your backyard. The City of Spring Hill does require a permit for pools, spas and hot tubs. A couple of key items when installing your new pool or hot tub include: 

        • Must be protected with a 4-foot fence and locking gate

        • Pool or hot tub must not be closer than 7 feet to the side or rear yard line.

        • Pool or hot tub must not be under or over electric, telephone, gas or sewer lines.
