Large Item Day will resume in Spring Hill in June. 

If you are Spring Hill resident on the Miami County side, your date is Wednesday, June 3. If you are a Spring Hill resident on the Johnson County side, your date is Wednesday, June 24. Beginning June 1, please call Waste Management (913) 631-3300 at least 48 hours in advance to schedule pickup.

We respectfully ask that residents with a large amount of bulk material continue to adhere to the volume limits.  We ask that residents with more items place these items out over time.  This is strictly to ensure the Waste Management collection teams can complete all core services (recycling, trash and yard waste) each week.

Large item trash day is the first Wednesday of each month for Miami County residents and the fourth Wednesday of each month for Johnson County residents. Your county must be verified to make sure you are scheduling for the correct day. Identify yourself as a Spring Hill resident, provide your address and mention the free bulk item collection.

All items must be able to be lifted by two men and placed in one area or pile and bundled if necessary. Items over six feet should be cut in half. Pick-up is done by a separate (rear-load) truck.
