Miami County declares a state of local disaster emergency

As a result, all Miami County offices are closed to the public until April 1 with the possibility to re-evaluate later. Residents are encouraged to utilize online options to complete transactions, make inquiries, etc. 

The Miami County Health Officer also issued an emergency order to prohibit all large public gatherings with more than 10 people in attendance; close all restaurants, dining facilities, bars, taverns, clubs and movie theaters in Miami County until April 2 except to continue carryout, drive-through, and delivery good and beverage services.
