Basic Logo - color-01

The City of Spring Hill issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) Aug. 12 to convey its interest in partnering with a sophisticated and motivated partner to bring fiber-based, Gigabit-class broadband service to the city.

The successful partner will either build, or partner with the City to build, and support a fiber-to-the-premises (FTTP) deployment capable of enhancing broadband connectivity to residents, businesses and community anchor institutions within the city limits of Spring Hill.

The RFP comes at the recommendation of the Broadband Task Force, which has worked tirelessly on discovering ways to bring better Internet service to Spring Hill.

Respondents must submit three hard copies and an electronic (flash drive) copy by 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 30, 2019 to: Melanie Landis, Assistant City Administrator 401 N. Madison St. P.O. Box 424 Spring Hill, KS 66083
