Heat schedule

Effective Wednesday, July 17, Waste Management will be following a heat schedule for the remainder of July and through the end of August.

All trash service will be moved one hour earlier. Please have cans curbside by 6 a.m. each Friday.

"The safety of our employees is one of our top priorities," Waste Management said in a news release. "The current 30-day outlook for the Kansas City metropolitan area reflects temperatures in the high 90 degrees with potential triple digit heat-index."
