As a part of a CARS Grant and Federal Fund Exchange, construction will soon begin on the Lone Elm Road bridge, which is sandwiched between U.S. 169 to the north and 207th Street to the south. Bids for the project were due June 27.
The repairs will be the construction of a 14’ by 12’ reinforced concrete box including demolition of existing reinforced concrete box wing walls, 13’ and 14’ reinforced concrete box extensions, wing walls, rip rap, guard rail, hydro-seeding and other items.
The project is expected to be complete before the end of the year.
