Niko, a Belgian Malinois, smiles alongside his handler Sgt. Lance Wipf at the Spring Hill Police Department. Niko went into service with the department in March of 2013 and is trained in narcotics detection, tracking, suspect apprehension, building/area search, evidence and article recovery and handler protection. He was born Nov. 2, 2011, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
