Looking for a way to get involved in your community? The City of Spring Hill is accepting applications for a seat on the Board of Zoning Appeals and two seats on the Planning Commission.
One seat is available on the Board of Zoning Appeals, which hears appeals to the Spring Hill Zoning Regulations. Meetings are held at the call of the Chair.
The City is seeking two new Planning Commission representatives: one representative who lives within the City limits and one who lives in unincorporated Johnson County near the city. The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Governing Body regarding zoning, rezoning, preliminary and final plats, and conditional-use permits. Regular meetings are held at 7 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month.
Interested applicants must submit this completed application to City Hall, attn: City Clerk, 401 N. Madison, P.O. Box 424, Spring Hill, KS 66083. Applications will be accepted until noon February 13.
