Begin the new year well by checking a few items off your to-do list early in 2017!
- License your pets
All dogs and cats six months of age and older must be licensed. License fees are $5 for spayed or neutered dogs and cats or $10 for animals which have not been spayed or neutered. Documentation showing your pet's current rabies vaccination must be provided with the application. Documentation of spay/neuter must be provided to receive the discount.
A $1 penalty is applied for each calendar month after the March 1 deadline.
Licenses can be purchased at City Hall 401 N. Madison. Download an application and fill it out before your visit to save time. - Sign up for emergency alerts + other notifications
The best way to stay updated during a local emergency is to register for the Spring Hill Notification System through Notify Me. Choose to receive alerts via or text and enter your information. You can also sign up for a number of other useful reminders and notifications through Notify Me, including trash day reminders, bulky item pickup day reminders, the City newsletter, ongoing news alerts, and meeting agendas. - Verify your correct contact information
Have you received a new phone number or disconnected your landline since moving to Spring Hill? If your contact information has changed since you initially signed up for City utilities, please contact us at (913) 592-3664 to update your phone number. Having correct numbers on file for all customers is important, especially in emergency situations when we need to reach everyone in the city limits or a utility service area. - Line up a great summer job
We're now hiring for all positions at the Spring Hill Aquatic Center for the 2017 season! Applicants must be available for the entire operating season. Returning staff members receive an extra $0.25 on their hourly rate. Apply online here.
