Spring Hill's annual holiday celebration is coming up quickly, and organizers are looking for community partners to help make this year's event a success!
Hometown Holidays, which celebrates the start of the Christmas season in Spring Hill, will be held Saturday, December 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Spring Hill Civic Center.
This year's event will feature many beloved community traditions, including the lighting of the Mayor's Christmas tree, free photos with Santa, and a candy cane hunt.
Families who attend Hometown Holidays each year look forward to the host of activities and crafts provided by local businesses and organizations. The event's organizers are now accepting registrations for groups interested in hosting a fun holiday-themed activity or craft project for a Christmas carnival-style event!
Crafts including Christmas ornaments and holiday gifts are popular, as are activities with a festive holiday theme. If your organization would like to participate but isn't sure what type of craft or activity would be best, Hometown Holidays committee members would be happy to provide suggestions. Your group may also choose to provide volunteers to support an activity provided by the City.
Organizers are also collecting items for the event's raffle, which will benefit the Mayor's Christmas Tree Fund.
If your organization is interested in participating, please fill out the form below. For more information, call us at (913) 592-3664 or email hometownholidays@springhillks.gov.
