Many Spring Hill residents have requested a way to responsibly dispose of one key household recyclable that isn’t currently included in their curbside recycling service - glass. Thanks to the coordination of several local agencies, glass recycling is now available in Spring Hill!

The City and members of its Green Board, the local Chamber of Commerce, Ripple Glass, and Spring Hill Queen’s Price Chopper have worked together to bring our residents glass recycling service. A Ripple Glass container has been placed at Price Chopper, 22350 S. Harrison, where residents can conveniently drop off glass that would have otherwise gone to a landfill.
Ripple Glass, which is based in Kansas City, provides glass recycling services for many other metro area communities. The company will accept glass food and beverage containers of any color. Labels do not need to be removed, and you do not need to separate your glass by color.

Mirrors, lightbulbs, televisions, ceramics, dishware, and other types of glass should not be included.
