The Spring Hill water tower project has been successfully completed ahead of schedule, with no major interruption to water service.
Work began in early July on the tower, with crews expecting the painting project to last up to 90 days. Good weather kept the crews ahead of schedule, and major repairs wrapped up in late August.
Once the Public Works department received clean results from a bacteriological water sample, the tower was put back into service this morning.
With the tower back in operation, partial mandatory water restrictions have been lifted. Residents may now water their lawns on any day of the week and resume regular water usage.
