[ARCHIVED] Civic Center to serve as a warming center through Saturday

Due to the exceptionally cold weather that we are experiencing, the Mayor and City Council of the City of Spring Hill have made arrangements for the Reception Room in the Spring Hill Civic Center, 401 N. Madison, to be open today through 10 p.m. Saturday, January 10.
Please be aware that the area will be unmanned and unsupervised. The City Council has asked that a police officer drop by on a regular basis in order to ensure that everyone’s needs are being met.
Because the area will be unmanned, the City Council wants to remind visitors that it is vital that they respect the needs and wishes of those individuals around them.
If you need a place to stay warm, please don't hesitate to take advantage of this opportunity! Call City Hall at (913) 592-3664 for more information.
