The Spring Hill Civic Center is home to City Hall, a gymnasium, event spaces and several multi-purpose rooms available for the public to rent.

  • The 401 Event Space is a large space with kitchen facilities, tables, and chairs — a great location for large gatherings.
  • The gymnasium includes a basketball court, bleachers and a stage.
  • Three multi-purpose rooms are available for meetings and fitness activities.

After residents voiced concerns of needed upgrades at the Spring Hill Civic Center, City leaders took action in 2016 and began the process of the Civic Center revitalization, a $3 million project. The project was completed in 2018, giving new life to a historic Spring Hill building. The renovation covered all aspects of the building including a new Council Chambers and Municipal Courtroom, new rentable spaces, a renovated gymnasium and a beautiful courtyard featuring heated sidewalks and seasonal planters. The gymnasium was a major portion of project and unveiled upgrades such as new flooring and bleachers, a heating and air conditioning system and the addition of audiovisual equipment incorporated into the gym’s unique stage to enhance performances and allow conference-style presentations.

A security deposit is required to reserve the building and is refundable if the building is found to be clean and the terms of the rental contract followed.

The Civic Center Gymnasium is also home to several City programs including the Walking Program and Open Gym.
